Compare Party Bus Companies Serving Pittsburgh
Partybusinpittsburgh.com is a quote-comparison website — not a bus company and not a motor carrier. It doesn't own vehicles or provide transportation itself. What it does is make it genuinely easy for group planners across Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, and the surrounding region to compare party buses, charter buses, minibuses, and Sprinter vans from a large network of independently owned transportation companies all in one place.
Instead of calling company after company, explaining your headcount and itinerary from scratch each time, and waiting on callbacks that come back at different hours in different formats — you fill out one form on this site and compare options side by side in seconds. Party bus prices, vehicle types, passenger counts, and amenities, all visible at once. No account required.
Free quote online or by phone at 412-755-0083 any time of day.
Whether you're moving 14 people from the North Shore to a wedding in Mount Lebanon or coordinating 10 charter buses for a convention at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, Partybusinpittsburgh.com connects you to the options you need without the runaround. That's the whole point.

Modern Onboard Bus Amenities for Your Pittsburgh Trip
Pittsburgh groups don't all need the same bus. A bachelorette night through the South Side Flats calls for a party bus with LED lighting, a full-length bar setup, and a premium Bluetooth sound system. A corporate shuttle between the Wyndham Grand and the David L. Lawrence Convention Center is a better fit for a minibus with reclining seats and climate control.
A full charter bus — with overhead storage, onboard restrooms, and undercarriage bays — makes the most sense when your group is heading to a Steelers away game or a multiday retreat in the Laurel Highlands.
Amenities vary by vehicle and company, but the quote comparison tool on this site lets you filter by passenger count and see what's available for your specific date. Call 412-755-0083 and a support team can walk through the options with you in minutes.

Amenities listed above are common features that MAY be available on party buses. Because we are a referral website and do NOT own or operate buses, exact features vary by vehicle, provider, and availability. Pittsburgh Party Bus Rental Prices
Pittsburgh party bus rental prices move based on vehicle size, the day of the week, and how many hours you need. To give you a planning baseline: a minibus in Pittsburgh runs roughly $200–$250 per hour on weekdays and $200–$275 per hour on weekends. A 25-passenger party bus runs approximately $250–$350 per hour on weekdays and $275–$375 on weekends.
A full charter bus typically runs $200–$350 per hour regardless of day. Per-day rates span a wider range — a minibus might run $1,100–$2,150 for a full-day booking, while a 50-passenger party bus can reach $2,150–$4,050.
These are planning ranges, not guarantees — the real number shifts with your date, exact hours, and the vehicles available in the network on your day. The fastest way to get an actual price for your Pittsburgh trip is to fill out the form or call 412-755-0083. Pricing comes back in under a minute.

Compare & Find the Right Party Bus in Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh has enough transportation headaches built into its geography without adding the search process on top. Between the Fort Pitt Tunnel backup on I-376, the bridge closures that reroute half of downtown without warning, and the North Shore parking situation on Steelers weekends — group transportation in this city takes actual planning. Partybusinpittsburgh.com exists to take the search itself off your plate.
Here's what makes it different: you are not limited to a single company's fleet. The network behind this site includes independently owned transportation companies serving Pittsburgh and the surrounding metro. That means more vehicle options, more availability on busy dates, and more price points to compare.
Fill out one form, see what's available for your group size and date, compare vehicles and rates side by side, and move forward. No account. No commitment.
No obligation to book after getting a quote.
If your trip has specific needs — multiple stops across Pittsburgh's neighborhoods, an early airport pickup at PIT, a tailgate-to-stadium run for 80 people — the support team at 412-755-0083 can build a custom package around your exact itinerary. Any day, any time. That is the whole setup here, and it works.
Group Transportation Services in Pittsburgh
Whatever brings your group together in Pittsburgh — a Steelers game on the North Shore, a wedding reception in Shadyside, a field trip to the Carnegie Museum, or a bachelorette crawl down Carson Street — there's a bus in the network ready for it. Explore every service type below, or call 412-755-0083 to get started right now.

Pittsburgh Airport Shuttles & Transportation
Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) (1000 Airport Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15231) sits roughly 18 miles west of downtown via I-376 — a stretch that can stretch to 45 minutes during morning rush or when the Fort Pitt Tunnel backs up, which it does reliably. For arriving groups, the commercial ground transportation pickup zone is on the Arrivals (baggage claim) level at the center island. Have your group collect all luggage and assemble curbside before contacting the transportation company to pull up — PIT's Arrivals curb moves quickly and doesn't accommodate long waits.
A Pittsburgh airport shuttle through this network is the straightforward call for groups of 10 or more landing at PIT. One vehicle, one drop-off point, no splitting your group into separate rideshares at midnight after a delayed connection. For hotel-to-airport runs during busy conventions at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, a minibus keeps the whole team on one departure schedule instead of staggered Ubers with unpredictable surge pricing.
Call 412-755-0083 to set up your PIT transfer.

Pittsburgh Bachelor & Bachelorette Transportation
Pittsburgh's South Side Flats — specifically the Carson Street corridor between 10th and 25th Streets — is one of the densest bar-per-block strips in Pennsylvania, with over 80 bars and restaurants packed into a walkable stretch along the south bank of the Monongahela. The problem for groups arriving by car: South Side street parking is essentially nonexistent on Friday and Saturday nights, residential permit zones cover most of the side streets, and the Birmingham Bridge backs up coming out of the South Side after midnight. A Pittsburgh bachelorette party bus drops your group on Carson Street and handles every stop without anyone circling for parking between bars.
Beyond Carson Street, popular group nights hit the rooftop at Altius Restaurant in Allentown for the city skyline view, the Strip District for late-night spots like Starlite Lounge, and Station Square for waterfront options. A 20- or 25-passenger party bus — with LED lighting, a sound system, and a full bar setup — keeps the energy going between stops and means nobody in the group is stuck navigating Pittsburgh's one-way street grid at 1am. Call 412-755-0083 to check availability on your date.

Pittsburgh Birthday, Sweet 16, & Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals
A party bus arrival is one of the most memorable ways to start a milestone birthday in Pittsburgh, and the city has no shortage of celebration venues worth arriving to in style. Sweet 16 and quinceañera groups frequently book reception halls in the South Hills — venues like LeMont Restaurant on Grandview Avenue or event spaces in Bethel Park and Upper St. Clair — where a coordinated vehicle pickup handles the logistics of getting dressed-up teenagers across the city without a caravan of parent cars.
For adult milestone birthdays, a Pittsburgh birthday party bus typically hits the Cultural District dinner scene, rooftop bars in the Strip District, or a late night out in Lawrenceville — Pittsburgh's fastest-growing nightlife neighborhood, where Butler Street's density of craft bars and restaurants rivals the South Side without the same parking crisis. A 20- to 30-passenger party bus fits the typical birthday group size and runs $275–$425 per hour on weekend evenings. Call 412-755-0083 to check what's available for your date.

Pittsburgh Concert Transportation & Shuttles
Pittsburgh's major concert venues are concentrated in a few tight corridors, and every one of them creates a specific parking nightmare that a Pittsburgh concert bus rental sidesteps entirely. PPG Paints Arena (1001 Fifth Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15219) draws major touring acts to the Lower Hill District, where nearby garage parking runs $25–$40 on event nights and the post-show exit on Centre Avenue backs up for 45 minutes. The bus drops your group at the arena entrance and picks everyone up curbside when the show ends.
More on getting a bus to PPG Paints Arena here.
The Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown is 30 miles southwest of Pittsburgh on Route 18 — a two-lane road that turns into a one-lane exit parade after a sold-out amphitheater show, with rideshare pickups backed up past midnight on big nights. A charter bus parks in the designated commercial lot and pulls out as soon as your group is loaded, skipping the worst of the post-show crawl. Stage AE on the North Shore has limited street parking and no dedicated rideshare staging area, making a minibus drop-off on Reedsdale Street the cleaner option for groups of 20 or more.

Pittsburgh Corporate Event Transportation
The David L. Lawrence Convention Center (1000 Fort Duquesne Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15222) sits on the Allegheny riverfront in the Cultural District — walkable from the Wyndham Grand and the Omni William Penn, but not from the hotel blocks in Oakland or the airport corridor hotels on Parkway West. A minibus running a timed shuttle loop between your hotel block and the convention center keeps conference attendees moving without asking them to figure out the T or haggle with rideshare surge pricing during session breaks.
For corporate group arrivals at PIT, a Pittsburgh corporate transportation charter bus handles the full transfer — luggage bays, climate control, power outlets for anyone still working the slides on the way in. Pittsburgh's tech and healthcare corridors (UPMC, PNC, Carnegie Mellon, U.S. Steel Tower) generate steady demand for executive shuttles between Oakland, the Strip District, and downtown, where parking runs $20–$35 per day in commercial garages. A minibus on a daily shuttle contract eliminates that entirely.
Call 412-755-0083 to talk through corporate account options and vehicle availability.

Pittsburgh Private Event Transportation Services
Pittsburgh's event calendar creates predictable transportation crunch points that catch first-timers off guard. Three Rivers Arts Festival runs for 10 days each June in Point State Park and the Cultural District, drawing 400,000+ attendees to a footprint where parking is either nonexistent or $35 in a private lot. Light Up Night in November brings 80,000+ people downtown in a single evening, shutting down multiple blocks of Liberty and Penn Avenues and making rideshare pickup essentially nonfunctional in the Golden Triangle for two hours after the fireworks.
A Pittsburgh private event charter bus solves both scenarios the same way: one vehicle, one pickup location outside the congestion zone, one flat rate instead of surge pricing. For family reunions hitting multiple Pittsburgh neighborhoods — a morning at the Carnegie Museum in Oakland, lunch in the Strip District, an afternoon at Phipps Conservatory — a 35-passenger minibus keeps everyone on the same schedule without juggling a six-car convoy across Pittsburgh's bridge-heavy layout. Call 412-755-0083 to plan your private Pittsburgh event transfer.

Pittsburgh Homecoming & Prom Party Bus Rentals
Prom season in the Pittsburgh metro runs from late April through mid-May, with high schools across Allegheny, Westmoreland, Washington, and Butler Counties holding their events within a compressed 5-week window. Demand for party buses spikes hard across the entire network during this stretch — and the vehicles that were available in January are routinely gone by March for the most popular Saturday nights. For prom: book no later than January or February to secure your vehicle and avoid premium last-minute pricing.
Popular prom and homecoming venues in the Pittsburgh area include Heinz Field club spaces, Station Square ballrooms, LeMont Restaurant, and event halls in Monroeville and Cranberry Township. A Pittsburgh prom party bus keeps the whole group together from the pre-party house to the venue and back — no designated driver logistics, no late-night rideshare coordination, no arguing about who's driving. Most prom groups book a 20- to 30-passenger bus for 3–5 hours.
Call 412-755-0083 now — not in April.

Pittsburgh School Event & Field Trip Transportation
Pittsburgh-area school groups have a strong roster of field trip destinations, and getting there cleanly is the whole challenge. The Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh campus (4400 Forbes Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213) in Oakland combines the Carnegie Museum of Natural History and the Carnegie Museum of Art under one roof — buses load and unload on Forbes Avenue, and the campus has a designated school group entrance on the museum's south side. The Heinz History Center (1212 Smallman St, Pittsburgh, PA 15222) in the Strip District handles school group bus drop-offs on Smallman Street, with advance coordination required for large groups.
Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium (One Wild Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15206) in Highland Park accommodates bus parking in the main lot on Baker Street, and the zoo's education department manages timed entry for school groups. A Pittsburgh school field trip bus through this network can be equipped with PA systems, overhead storage for backpacks, and onboard restrooms on select vehicles — a practical advantage over traditional yellow school buses on longer runs to destinations like Kennywood Park or the flight deck at the Carnegie Science Center. Call 412-755-0083 to get pricing for your group size and destination.

Pittsburgh Sporting Event Transportation
Pittsburgh's three major pro venues — Acrisure Stadium, PNC Park, and PPG Paints Arena — all sit within the North Shore and Lower Hill District footprint, which means game-day parking and post-game exit are always the conversation. Acrisure Stadium (100 Art Rooney Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15212) hosts Steelers games with 68,400 fans funneling out through a handful of bridges back across the Allegheny after the final whistle. North Shore lots run $40–$60 on Steelers Sundays, and the Fort Duquesne Bridge pedestrian walk to the South Side can take 35 minutes on a cold January night.
A Pittsburgh sporting event charter bus drops your group at the stadium gates and picks everyone up at a pre-arranged spot when the crowd clears — no bridge walk, no $55 lot, no fighting for an Uber in the rain. More on bus logistics to Acrisure Stadium here. For Pirates games at PNC Park (115 Federal St, Pittsburgh, PA 15212), the bus uses the Federal Street commercial drop-off zone steps from the Clemente Gate.
PNC Park bus logistics are covered in detail here. Call 412-755-0083 to lock in your game-day vehicle before the date sells out.

Pittsburgh Wedding Transportation & Shuttle Service
Pittsburgh wedding venues are scattered across dramatically different terrain — hilltop venues like The Twentieth Century Club in Oakland and Heinz Chapel at Pitt, waterfront reception spaces at Heinz Field's club level and the Sheraton Station Square, and suburban estate venues in the South Hills and Sewickley. The city's bridge-and-tunnel geography means a guest hotel block in downtown Pittsburgh and a wedding venue in McMurray can be 35 minutes apart even on a Saturday evening. A Pittsburgh wedding shuttle bus running timed loops between the hotel and the venue keeps guests on schedule without asking out-of-town guests to navigate I-79 South in the dark.
A 14-passenger Sprinter limo is the natural fit for bridal party transfers — pickup at the getting-ready suite, a stop for portraits at the overlook on Grandview Avenue, and arrival at the ceremony with everyone together. For wedding guest shuttles, a 35-passenger minibus typically covers most reception-size groups in 2–3 loops. Pricing for Pittsburgh wedding buses ranges from $200–$275 per hour for a minibus to $275–$425 per hour for a larger party bus on Saturday evenings.
Call 412-755-0083 to check availability for your wedding date.

Pittsburgh Winery Tour & Pub Crawl Transportation
Western Pennsylvania's wine country along the Lake Erie shore — specifically the Presque Isle Wine Cellars and Mazza Vineyards corridor in North East, PA — sits roughly 110 miles north of Pittsburgh on I-79 and I-90. A charter bus handles the full round-trip without anyone calculating the return drive, and with undercarriage bays for case purchases, the bus earns its keep twice. Closer in, the Laurel Highlands wine trail and smaller producers in Butler County make for a solid half-day itinerary that a minibus covers without the highway distance.
For Pittsburgh pub crawls, the South Side Carson Street corridor, Lawrenceville's Butler Street stretch, and the bar and restaurant density in Shadyside and Squirrel Hill each work well as a Pittsburgh pub crawl party bus route. South Side residential permit enforcement picks up after 10pm on weekends, making a parked personal vehicle a real liability. A 20- or 25-passenger party bus handles the hop between neighborhoods without the street parking scramble at every stop.
Call 412-755-0083 to build your Pittsburgh winery or pub crawl itinerary.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pittsburgh Bus Rentals
How does this website work?
Partybusinpittsburgh.com helps you compare bus rental options; it is not the bus company and does not rent, own, or operate vehicles. When you submit the quote form, your trip details go through a booking company so you can review pricing and available vehicles for your date. You compare the options and book through the process shown with your quote.
How much does a party bus cost in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania?
Pittsburgh party bus rental prices vary by vehicle size, day of week, and how many hours you need. Planning ranges from the network: a minibus runs roughly $200–$275 per hour on weekends, a 25-passenger party bus runs approximately $275–$375 per hour on weekends, and a full 40–56 passenger charter bus typically runs $200–$350 per hour. Per-day rates span from around $1,100 for a minibus to over $4,000 for a large party bus on a peak date.
These are planning figures — not quotes. The real number for your specific trip comes back in under a minute when you fill out the form or call 412-755-0083. See the Pittsburgh party bus prices page for the full breakdown.
What is Partybusinpittsburgh.com?
Partybusinpittsburgh.com is a quote-comparison website for group ground transportation in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is not a bus company and does not provide transportation itself. It connects group planners with independently owned transportation companies serving the Pittsburgh metro, so you can compare vehicles and rates in one place instead of calling a dozen companies separately.
That's the whole thing — and it's genuinely useful.
Where does the bus drop off at Acrisure Stadium?
For Steelers games and events at Acrisure Stadium, commercial vehicles generally use the North Shore approach via Art Rooney Avenue. Bus drop-off is coordinated through the event's designated commercial vehicle lane — your transportation company will know the current event-specific access point. North Shore lots fill early on Steelers Sundays, and many close to new arrivals 90 minutes before kickoff.
Check the official Steelers parking page before your game for current lot assignments and road closure information. The full Acrisure Stadium bus guide covers approach routes and drop-off logistics in more detail.
Where does a bus park at PNC Park for a Pirates game?
PNC Park (115 Federal St, Pittsburgh, PA 15212) sits on the North Shore with commercial drop-off access on Federal Street near the Roberto Clemente Bridge. Bus and commercial vehicle parking on Pirates game days is coordinated through the event-specific parking plan — lots in the North Shore surface parking footprint handle overflow, but they fill fast for big-draw games. The PNC Park bus rental guide covers the approach and drop-off logistics in detail.
We recommend checking the official Pirates transportation page before your visit to confirm current commercial vehicle access.
Can a charter bus get to the Pavilion at Star Lake?
Yes — the Pavilion at Star Lake (665 Route 18, Burgettstown, PA 15021) accommodates charter buses in its commercial vehicle parking area. The access road is Route 18, and large vehicle staging for commercial buses is separate from general admission parking. The post-show exit on Route 18 is notoriously slow for personal vehicles — charter buses stage closer to the exit and are generally moving before the general lot clears.
The full Star Lake bus guide is here. For sold-out shows, availability on the network moves fast — call 412-755-0083 well ahead of the date.
Are ADA-accessible buses available in Pittsburgh?
ADA-accessible vehicles are available through the network. When you request a quote — either through the online form or by calling 412-755-0083 — mention the accessibility requirement and the support team will filter for vehicles that meet your group's needs. Confirming this upfront is important, as ADA-equipped vehicles represent a smaller share of overall fleet availability and book out faster on busy weekends.
How far in advance should I book a Pittsburgh party bus?
For most Pittsburgh events, booking 4–8 weeks out gives you solid vehicle selection and competitive pricing. For high-demand dates — Steelers home games (September through January), prom season (late April through mid-May), New Year's Eve, and Three Rivers Arts Festival weekends in June — the network's availability shrinks fast. Prom bookings in particular: book by January or February for a late-April or May date, or expect premium pricing and limited options.
The earlier you lock in your date, the better your choices. Call 412-755-0083 to check what's currently available for your trip.
Popular Pittsburgh Party Bus Destinations
Pittsburgh groups book transportation to stadiums on the North Shore, venues in Oakland and the Strip District, wineries in the Laurel Highlands, and late-night stops across the South Side and Lawrenceville. The venues below come up most often — and if your destination isn't listed, a bus in the network can get you there. Call 412-755-0083 to set up a route to anywhere in the region.

Acrisure Stadium
Home of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pitt Panthers since 2001, Acrisure Stadium (100 Art Rooney Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15212) holds 68,400 and sits at the western tip of the North Shore along the Allegheny River. Steelers game-day parking in North Shore surface lots runs $40–$60 for prepaid spots, and those lots are frequently full 90 minutes before kickoff. After the game, the Fort Duquesne Bridge pedestrian crossing to the South Side backs up quickly, and rideshare staging on the North Shore gets chaotic with 68,000 people exiting at once.
A charter bus drops your tailgate group at the Art Rooney Avenue gate and picks up at a pre-set location when the crowd clears. See the full bus guide for Acrisure Stadium for approach and drop-off specifics.

PNC Park
PNC Park (115 Federal St, Pittsburgh, PA 15212) opened in 2001 on the North Shore and consistently ranks among the best ballparks in the country for its Allegheny River and downtown Pittsburgh skyline sightlines from the upper deck. Capacity is 38,747, and while Pirates games don't create Steelers-level parking pressure, Friday and Saturday night games with fireworks finishes generate genuine post-game traffic on the Roberto Clemente Bridge. Commercial drop-off is coordinated on Federal Street near the main gate.
North Shore surface parking for those nights runs $25–$40, and the bridge walk from more distant lots can be 15 minutes each way. A minibus or charter bus drops your group steps from the Clemente Gate and handles the route back. Full PNC Park bus logistics are here.
Phone: (412) 321-2827

PPG Paints Arena
PPG Paints Arena (1001 Fifth Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15219) is Pittsburgh's 18,187-seat indoor venue, home to the Penguins and the city's largest concert circuit. It sits in the Lower Hill District at the eastern edge of downtown, where nearby parking is concentrated in private lots along Centre Avenue that charge $20–$40 on event nights. Post-event, Centre Avenue runs slow in both directions as the lot exits merge, and the walk from cheaper parking on the far side of the Civic Arena site is legitimately 10–15 minutes.
A bus drops your group on Fifth Avenue near the arena entrance and handles the pickup without anyone fighting for a parking spot. The full PPG Paints Arena bus guide covers drop-off and pickup logistics in detail.
Phone: (412) 642-1800

Kennywood Park
Kennywood (4800 Kennywood Blvd, West Mifflin, PA 15122) is one of the last traditional amusement parks in the United States — a National Historic Landmark that's been running since 1898 on a bluff above the Monongahela River in West Mifflin, about 10 miles southeast of downtown Pittsburgh. The park's main parking lot charges $25 per vehicle on peak summer days and fills to capacity on busy Saturdays. The access road on Kennywood Boulevard backs up significantly on school group days in May and June, which is also when company picnic bus rentals are most common.
Charter buses and school buses use the dedicated commercial vehicle lane at the main gate entrance on Kennywood Boulevard, bypassing the general parking lot entirely. Kennywood is the most common Pittsburgh-area destination for both school field trips and corporate picnic transportation.

The Strip District
Pittsburgh's Strip District — the narrow corridor of Penn Avenue and Smallman Street between 11th and 33rd Streets along the Allegheny River — packs produce markets, restaurants, specialty food shops, and weekend nightlife into a footprint where street parking is notoriously difficult on Saturday mornings and impossible on Saturday nights. Weekend mornings bring the farmers market crowd to the Penn Avenue sidewalk vendors, and by afternoon the restaurants on Smallman and Penn are full. A party bus crawl through the Strip District typically starts at lunch-hour spots like Primanti Brothers on 18th Street, moves through the evening bar scene at Sienna Mercato or Lorelei, and finishes at the late-night options heading toward Lawrenceville.
The bus stages on Smallman between stops — no residential permit anxiety, no $20 lot fee at each stop the group makes. Call 412-755-0083 to build a Strip District itinerary.

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens (One Schenley Park, Pittsburgh, PA 15213) opened in 1893 in Schenley Park in Oakland and now draws over 450,000 visitors annually for its seasonal flower shows, holiday light displays, and private events. The Conservatory's garden party season and the Winter Flower Show (December through February) are its two biggest attendance periods. Bus drop-off is on Schenley Drive at the main Conservatory entrance — the nearest general parking is in the Schenley Park garage on Overlook Drive, which charges $4–$8 depending on the event.
For corporate events and wedding receptions at Phipps, a minibus shuttle between a downtown hotel and the Conservatory entrance is a clean, direct option that skips the Schenley Drive parking search entirely. ADA-accessible entry is available at the Conservatory's rear entrance on Panther Hollow Road.
